Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your laCamera account and the data associated with it.
Delete your account from the app
- Open the laCamera app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right.
- Tap Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm. Your account is then closed immediately and you are signed out.
If you can't access the app
Email us from the address on your account at lacamera.app@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account", and we will process your request.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, your login is permanently disabled (you can no longer sign in), and your content — your profile, the videos you linked, captions, comments, references and messages — is removed from the app and no longer visible to other members.
What may be kept, and for how long
We may retain a limited copy of some information after deletion where we have a legitimate legal, security, safety or abuse-prevention reason to do so (for example, to prevent a banned user from returning). Any such data is kept only for as long as that purpose requires and is then removed. To request removal of retained data, contact lacamera.app@gmail.com and we will honour applicable legal requirements.
